What is this lesson?
The girl is getting dressed! Learn the names of different articles of clothing. At the same time, learn how to talk about getting dressed! Put on a sweatshirt. Take off your pajamas. Wear a red dress!
You get to learn about different kinds of clothes in this lesson. This lesson also builds on the important sentence "Can you...?" by asking the question "Can you get dressed?" It also builds on the command sentences that you learned in At the Desk lesson on The Jet DVD. Put on your shoes. Wear blue jeans.
How do I teach this lesson?
This lesson teaches about getting dressed, and it does this by using sentences that ask ability (Can you get dressed?), and simple commands (Put on your overalls). This lesson is best taught through simple repetition of the main sentences. As always, games and flashcards are effective.
